I think of myself as a hybrid – a visual designer and front-end developer. I strive to build websites that are easy-to-use, memorable experiences that a user wants to keep coming back to, like a favorite book. Graphic design has always been at the core of my career, from my beginnings as a newspaper production artist in Northern Michigan to my life as part of Washington DC’s web design community.
